everyday calligraphy

A few everyday things made a bit prettier with calligraphy.

Index-card labels for my school binders; I use mounting corners to attach them to coloured paper in the front of the binders, so I can remove them each term and reuse the paper for the next.

Here I used mounting corners again (this time at angles) to attach removable labels to folders.

An envelope in which to store (not surprisingly) postage stamps.

A few bookmarks made during a class.  (Mugwort stands for happiness, red rose stands for love, ivy stands for friendship.)
